David Syzdek

Pastor of Youth Ministry

When David began to experience the transforming work of God, he had mentors, a faith community, and accountability partners who were instrumental in helping him learn to follow Jesus. Books such as: Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and Making Sense of God by Timothy Keller were also influential. With that experience, God called David to serve middle and high school students. His leadership focuses on casting vision and direction, leading small groups and developing servant leadership within both the leaders and the youth. He appreciates that the youth ministry takes place at the Boys & Girls Club in West Bend and has 10 area churches represented.  David’s passion is to see youth experience and follow Jesus and then take seriously their role in God’s mission in the world and amongst their peers at school.  

David is also part of the Music Worship Ministry both for Sunday gatherings and within the youth ministry. 

In addition to all the youth kids that like to hang out with David and his wife, Sally, they have four children of their own. You’ll find David enjoying time at Green Tree Elementary School for some of his children's events.
