Kim Mundinger
Pastor of Family & Children’s Ministry
Kim is married to Jay and they have 6 children and continue to accumulate grandchildren. Kim has been on a journey with God in understanding neuroscience, faith and the impact these have on caring for children. One author and professional she has been particularly influenced by is Dr. Curt Thompson and his podcast Being Known, which gives understanding to the way our brains are designed and how God uses relationships to bring healing that literally rewires our brains. Kim began pursuing this journey shortly after adopting their two youngest children. This experience gave her a passion for foster and adoptive children and their parents, specifically, helping them to find ways to connect. She now invests a good amount of time co-leading a support group and doing training for parents and caregivers on caring for kids with an understanding of the brain. Kim's desire is for all of her interactions with people to reflect the compassion, safety and connection of Jesus.
